Jersey Mike's in New Jersey seeks a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead and repair 30+ locations. Field-based role requiring travel across the state and occasional off-hours support.

You'll diagnose general facility issues, service restaurant equipment, and escalate when a licensed trade is needed. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and staying within scope while maintaining a high standard across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on facilities maintenance, commercial kitchen equipment service, or multi-site maintenance; 5+ years preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification required for work involving refrigerants.
• HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, CFESA, OSHA/lockout-tagout, or manufacturer-specific certifications.
• Experience with commercial kitchen brands (Bizerba, Nu-Vu, Hoshizaki, Delfield, CaptiveAire, Imperial, Vulcan) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete general facility repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, doors, ceilings, walls, and flooring across locations.
• Respond to repair requests across the portfolio.
• Troubleshoot and service commercial restaurant equipment (walk-ins, freezers, ovens, grills, slicers, hoods).
• Escalate work requiring licensed trades or specialized contractors and manage through completion.
