Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or degree/certification, or equivalent professional experience in building trades.
• Two to five years of general maintenance experience including minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must possess applicable certifications or licenses and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and maintenance instructions; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance such as toilets, urinals, valves, fixtures and sensors.
• Performs routine painting, carpentry, and general maintenance to keep facilities in like-new condition.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance within state regulations; replaces fixtures and switches.
• Uses handheld devices to access work orders, submit reports and track materials.
