Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service multiple commercial properties in New Jersey. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Travel between sites is required; you'll use tablets to complete work orders, submit reports, and communicate with support teams. A HS diploma and 2–5 years in general maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of general maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• HS diploma or certification or equivalent professional experience in trades or landscaping.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and applicable certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders across customer sites.
• Self perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and related tasks.
• Assist with inspections, safety checks and asset condition reviews.
• Document service activities and update work orders using handheld devices.
