Job summary

Augeo is seeking a Field & Event Marketing Manager to plan and manage trade shows, conferences, sponsorship activations, and field marketing programs from strategy through onsite execution and post-event reporting. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, venue sourcing and vendor relationships, and deliver data‑driven insights to improve future outcomes.

We are looking for a Field & Event Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is outgoing, thoughtful, strategic, and a natural leader. This role is responsible for planning and managing trade shows, conferences, sponsorship activations, and field marketing programs from initial strategy through onsite execution and post-event reporting. They serve as the day-to-day lead for clients, ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with regional and business objectives.

The Field & Event Marketing Manager will work directly with client stakeholders, field marketing and sales teams, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and venue partners to plan and execute successful programs, necessitating polished communication and executive presence. Relationship building is an important requirement for success in this position.

This individual will manage project timelines, event budgets, exhibitor and sponsorship programs, venue sourcing, vendor relationships, and field marketing initiatives that support regional pipeline and attendee engagement goals.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and strong execution, using event and field marketing data to continuously improve attendee experiences and business outcomes.

You’ll spend your days on the following:
  • Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, sponsorship activations, and field marketing programs, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and regional pipeline goals.
  • Manage all phases of program planning and execution, including timelines, budgets, stakeholder communication, logistics, attendee engagement, and onsite operations.
  • Manage sponsorship fulfillment, exhibitor coordination, booth experiences, hosted meetings, and brand activations that support field marketing and sales priorities.
  • Track and report performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, sponsorship results, and ROI - connecting results back to regional pipeline impact.
  • Analyze program performance and deliver post-event insights and recommendations to improve future outcomes.
  • Partner with creative, content, production, field marketing, and sales teams to develop messaging, presentations, attendee communications, and promotional campaigns.
  • Act as team lead and project manager, ensuring all communication, timelines, financials, and deliverables are successfully managed. Build and own comprehensive project plans.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, providing guidance, updates, and program oversight.
  • Deliver strategic and creative recommendations that help clients maximize the impact of events and field marketing programs.
  • Schedule, lead, and oversee follow-up from recurring client meetings and program reviews.
  • Manage program budgets, including forecasting, change management, financial communication, and post-program closeouts.
  • Manage client, vendor, sponsorship, and partner agreements, ensuring scope, deliverables, budgets, and timelines are clearly defined.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, venues, suppliers, exhibitors, and partners.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the year, including onsite event execution and physical setup oversight in fast-paced environments.
  • Lead onsite teams of staff, subcontractors, exhibitors, vendors, and agency partners during in-person and virtual events.
  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings, training, and company initiatives.
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • 4+ years of experience in field marketing, corporate event planning, trade show management, conference marketing, or experiential marketing.
  • Experience working with exhibitors, sponsors, convention centers, trade show organizers, or field/regional marketing teams.
  • Experience managing multiple events, programs, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced client service environment.
  • Strong understanding of event and field marketing success metrics, reporting, and data-driven program optimization.
  • Self-motivated and highly accountable.

  • Flexible multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Location

Candidates must be based in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin. Candidates local to an Augeo office are expected to work a hybrid schedule. Candidates outside commuting distance of an Augeo office may work remotely.
