Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking an Operations Equipment Support Engineer to drive standardization and improve maintenance practices across North American plants. You will support blow molders, IML systems, trimming equipment and related downstream equipment while developing preventive programs and performing root-cause analysis.

Requires 5–10 years in a plant setting, strong reliability knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 90% with collaboration from Corporate Engineering and Operations

Qualifications

B.S. in engineering or technical field is ideal.
5–10 years’ experience in a plant environment, preferably with maintenance and equipment reliability focus.
Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and life cycle cost analysis.
Must be an excellent team player with the ability to multi-task and follow up efficiently.

Responsibilities

Uses problem solving tools such as A3 and 8D to solve problems.
Develops and tests new designs and equipment improvements for production equipment.
Completes annual PMs and documents measurements and forms.
Leads root-cause analysis and implements corrective actions across plants.
