Job summary

Graham Packaging, a North American leader in sustainable packaging, seeks an Operations Equipment Support Engineer to partner with Corporate Engineering to standardize maintenance processes across plant equipment.

The role focuses on best-practice development for blow molders, IML systems, trimming equipment, and other downstream machinery; also to develop proactive maintenance programs and perform root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or technical field; ideal.
• 5–10 years’ plant maintenance/equipment reliability experience.
• Experience with blow molding, IML, trimming equipment preferred.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, audit and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause analysis and FMEA activities.
• Support major equipment overhauls and upgrades with central engineering.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on standardized procedures.
• Read drawings and identify correct spare parts; assist changeovers.
• Communicate findings and progress with site maintenance managers.
