Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to repair and install dental equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and deliver detailed service reports while ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Role requires 3–5 years in dental tech, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel to sites. Training and OSHA compliance are required, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of dental industry experience with strong mechanical skills and customer service.
• Must begin to cross certify (digital x-ray/software, digital CAD/CAM, etc.)
• Experience with work orders, Concur, eTime, RMA processes and 2579 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provides repair services to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provides and maintains the necessary tools to perform installation and repair services.
• Can work independently and manage all on site installation, repair maintenance and test tasks.
• Follow proper troubleshooting steps to diagnose errors on technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Comprehends customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations to optimize the customer experience.
• Produces timely and detailed service reports.
• Attends required training including Henry Schein Dental Career Development training and manufacturer training.
• Complies with OSHA regulations and uses PPE as needed.
• Communicates progress to Team Members and HUB dispatchers.
• Completes all work orders daily and reviews with customer.
• Submits all job-related paperwork timely (FDA forms, expense reports, etc.).
• Complies with Fleet Management policies and participates in special projects.
