Job summary

Lite-On in Plano, TX seeks a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

You will develop PM programs, analyze performance data for reliability improvements, and support RCA and corrective actions. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Automation teams while ensuring SOPs and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related field required or 3–7 years' experience in equipment maintenance.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting across multiple equipment types.
Experience with CMMS or ERP systems for maintenance documentation.
Experience with electronics, EMS, or high-volume manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, tools, and systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues to restore uptime.
Develop and execute PM programs; analyze data to identify reliability improvements.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment readiness and process stability.
