Job summary

Sentinel Offender Services is seeking an Equipment Installer/Technician in Texas to handle installation, removal and troubleshooting of electronic monitoring equipment, GPS devices, and breath alcohol testing gear. This entry-level role also manages daily client scheduling and inventory control.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; experience
• Basic computer skills; reliable transportation
• Time management to meet deadlines for equipment installation
• Must be able to work flexible schedules and communicate with staff and participants

Responsibilities

• Install and remove various electronic monitoring equipment as requested using directed safety precautions.
• Provide support for service and maintenance of equipment.
• Keep accurate records of service calls.
• Inspect and maintain all monitoring and testing equipment, including cleaning.
• Process alarms as required during shifts per program requirements.
• Assist with data entry of activity schedules as required.
• Telephone calls to participants for equipment or collection purposes.
• Maintain calibration and repair records for all equipment serviced.
• Shipping and receiving functions for equipment and supplies.
• Diagnosis and repair of EM equipment as outlined in company procedures.
• Serve as liaison between Sentinel and contracted agencies as needed.
