Job summary

Sentinel Offender Services, LLC in San Antonio seeks a Lead Field Technician (Criminal Justice) to install, service and troubleshoot electronic monitoring equipment. The role involves equipment installation, removal and daily client scheduling with inventory control.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, offering health and vision insurance, PTO and an Employee Assistance Program. HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove various electronic monitoring equipment as requested using directed safety precautions.
• Provide support for service and maintenance of equipment.
• Keep accurate records of service calls.
• Inspect and maintain all monitoring and testing equipment, including cleaning.
• Process alarms as required during shifts per program requirements.
• Assist with data entry of activity schedules.
• Telephone calls to participants for equipment or collection purposes.
• Maintains calibration and repair records for all equipment serviced.
• Shipping and receiving functions for equipment and supplies per procedures.
• Diagnosis and repair of EM equipment as outlined in procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between Sentinel and contracted agencies as needed.
