Job summary

Sentinel Offender Services is seeking an Equipment Installer / Technician in Waterbury, CT. This entry-level role installs, removes, and troubleshoots electronic monitoring equipment, and coordinates daily client scheduling and inventory control.

You will work with law enforcement and corrections partners to deliver reliable monitoring services. Training provided; benefits include health, PTO, dental, vision, EAP and mileage reimbursement.

Working with law enforcement, community corrections agencies and the court system, we provide customized offender management solutions that help to reduce recidivism and improve reentry success. These solutions combine electronic monitoring technology, alcohol and substance abuse testing, and community-based offender management programs.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 10:00AM -6:00PM

Pay: $17.75/hr - $18.00/hr - Mileage reimbursement - Defined Area - Waterbury Court, Torrington Court, Danbury Court. $18/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

The Equipment Installer / Technician is an entry level position for an Electronic Monitoring, GPS. The installer is primarily responsible for performing equipment installations, removal and troubleshooting of all equipment, along with daily client scheduling and inventory control.

Job Expectations + Essential Functions

• Install and remove various electronic monitoring equipment as requested using directed safety precautions.
• Provide support for service and maintenance of equipment.
• Keep accurate records of service calls
• Inspect and maintain all monitoring and testing equipment, this includes cleaning equipment.
• Diagnosis and repair of EM equipment as outlined in company procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between Sentinel and/or other contracted agencies, as needed based on duty shifts
