Slip Robotics is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead a 3-5-person Field Engineer team and scale field operations across North America. You will own diagnostic procedures, repair standards, and the escalation workflow, turning frontline observations into actionable engineering inputs.

In this player-coach role, you will establish repeatable processes, manage campaigns, and partner with Service, Design, and Product teams to improve fleet reliability and customer outcomes while ensuring

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service or similar experience in robotics.
• Experience designing diagnostic procedures or repair standards.
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with RCA processes with product/design teams.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Responsabilités

• Lead a 3-5 person Field Engineer team with clear performance expectations.
• Establish operating cadences: standups, escalation reviews, and 1:1s.
• Define diagnostic procedures from triage to repair validation.
• Build and maintain a Repair Standards Library for all products.
• Translate field observations into actionable engineering inputs.
• Own hiring and onboarding as the team scales.
• Own field campaigns lifecycle and KPIs.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for complex failures.
