Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to support heavy civil infrastructure projects in the South Central District. You will help plan, organize, and execute engineering and project controls tasks for highway, bridge, rail, and water projects.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you contribute to field and office activities from site prep to mass grading. The position emphasizes scheduling, cost tracking, safety, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or engineering, with interest in hands-on construction and 2+ years of experience.
• If no BS degree, at least 6 years related construction experience/education.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, planning and organization abilities.
• Familiarity with paving, grading, cut and fill, excavation, concrete forming is ideal.

Aufgaben

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specs for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations from measurements and completed work.
• Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and data collection (elevation, control points, as-built data).
• Assist in daily labor timesheets, JHA preparation, safety reviews, toolbox talks.
• Order and schedule material deliveries; coordinate work groups and site supervision.
