Job summary

Kiewit in Houston is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support heavy civil projects, including highways, bridges, rails, and utilities. You will help plan, organize, and implement project engineering and controls tasks on site, coordinating field activities with craft supervision and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or 6+ years related field experience.
• Experience with scheduling, CPM, estimating, and field coordination in heavy civil.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; willingness to travel/relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare work plans.
• Support in cost reporting, change orders, and subcontract administration.
