Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks a maintenance technician to provide flight line and ground support, troubleshoot aircraft systems, and assist with new powerplant development. The role includes reviewing documentation, following procedures, and ensuring safety standards are met.

The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, teamwork, and travel readiness, with opportunities to train junior specialists and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license may be required.
• Willing to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Inspect powerplant and related components per procedures and orders.
• Repair fuel/oil leaks and engine problems; replace components as needed.
• Review records for complete documentation per standards.
• May perform launch/recovery tasks and ground operations.
• Inspect and operate ground support equipment as required.
• Observe all laws, regulations, and company obligations.
• Maintain a productive and safe working environment.
• Assist in training of new A&P specialists.
• Assist with powerplant and system development as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
