This role centers on engineering program management, coordinating between Manufacturing, Profit & Loss, Operations, and Design Engineering to ensure part availability and timely drawings and cut-ins for Poway and Flight Operations facilities. Under general direction, you will plan engineering projects, lead complex engineering work, present findings, and drive resolutions

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Thorough understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory.
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex problems.
• Experience with Excel, PowerBI, Teamcenter and SAP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports operation of engineering systems and documents any problems.
• Devises new approaches to resolve unusual or complex engineering problems.
• Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements and special material needs.
• Provides documentation and makes technical presentations.
• May represent the organization as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects.
• Provides direction to design or technical staff and may lead a team of moderately experienced professionals.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Observes all laws and regulations, and works safely.
