Job summary

General Atomics (GA), including GA-EMS, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the engineering development of advanced GA-EMS products. This role reports to the Manager of Project Engineering and supervises a cross-functional team of up to fifty engineers in a fast-paced environment in Huntsville, AL.

You will coordinate program plans, maintain IMS and PMP alignment, and liaise with customers and senior staff to present progress at milestone reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in engineering with progressive engineering experience.
• Experience in management, leadership and systems engineering.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines and lead large technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering development efforts and lead the engineering process.
• Manage cross-functional teams and resources to meet schedule and budget.
• Provide updates to PMO and senior leadership.
• Coordinate IMS and ensure PMP compliance.
