Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an experienced field engineering supervisor to guide design, planning, and execution of distribution projects across multiple disciplines. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable electric service.

Ideal candidates have a strong engineering background, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology; ABET accreditation preferred.
Minimum of five years of related technical experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of distribution engineering standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct and/or assist with organizing and prioritizing work group activities to meet deadlines.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve department and company goals.
Oversee design, planning and estimates for distribution service/construction projects.
Provide coaching and technical guidance to staff and ensure safe work practices.
Support regulatory commitments and respond to engineering/technical inquiries as needed.
Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary and be available for emergency restoration assignments.
