The role involves pre-bid surveys, contract execution, and closeout, plus collaboration with field crews and subcontractors to control costs and margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or 5+ years field construction experience
• 2+ years related field construction mgmt experience OR 5+ years managing a $1MM portfolio
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid MS Word & MS Excel skills; Primavera/JD Edwards a plus
• Willingness to travel approx. 25%
• Experience in water/sewer or municipal environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality and project management standards
• Perform pre-bid site surveys, contract execution/start-up, and project closeout
• Collaborate with field crews and subcontractors to track costs and maintain profit margins
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction and status meetings with customers
• Prepare, submit and track Submittals and RFIs; assist with scheduling
• Prepare scopes of work and assist with awarding Subcontracts; handle material procurement
