Job summary

Insituform Technologies USA, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to provide oversight for production, safety, quality, and project management standards on field projects, with responsibility for pre-bid surveys, start-up, and closeout.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and the ability to manage multiple projects, travel about 10%, and work with field crews and subcontractors to control costs and margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2+ years of field construction management experience OR 5+ years managing an annual $1MM portfolio of projects.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting/finance concepts preferred.
• Water/sewer or municipal environment experience is a plus.
• Strong customer-satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards.
• Pre-bid site surveys, contract execution/start-up, and project closeout.
• Track and manage project costs with field crews and subcontractors to meet production and margin targets.
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and project status meetings with customers.
• Prepare, submit, and track submittals and RFIs; assist with scheduling.
