Job summary

Insituform Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to oversee production, safety, quality and project management standards onsite in California. You will coordinate with field crews and subcontractors, track costs, production rates and gross margins, and participate in client meetings.

Responsibilities include pre-bid site surveys, contract start-up and closeout, submittals, RFIs, scheduling, scopes of work and subcontracting, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 2+ years of related field construction management experience OR 5+ years of field construction experience managing an annual portfolio of projects.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Water/sewer or municipal experience is a plus.
• Must be able to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Pre-bid site surveys, contract execution/start-up, and closeout.
• Work with field crews and subcontractors to track and manage project costs, meet production rates and gross margins.
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction and project status meetings with customers.
• Prepare, submit and track Submittals and RFIs.
• Assist with scheduling jobs and preparing scopes of work and subcontract awards.
• Handle material procurement.
