Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. The role connects engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safety, compliance with design, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction-support roles or field operations.
• Ability to manage documentation and field reports under deadlines.
• Experience working with engineering drawings and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, subcontractors, and regulators to support project execution.
• Support FAIs and verify field work against drawings and specs; manage redlines and turnover packages.
• Generate and track RFIs to resolve issues and protect schedule.
• Review submittals and documentation for project compliance.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks through proactive coordination.
• Monitor subcontractor and self-perform work for quality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and utility stakeholders; use drones to monitor progress.
