Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is hiring a Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. This field role links engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience creating reports and maintaining project documentation.
• Ability to work against deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Team-oriented with collaborative problem-solving.
• Valid U.S. driver1s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulatory agencies to support project execution.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and verify work is in accordance with drawings and specs.
• Manage engineering and construction documentation including redlines, as-builts, field reports, and turnover packages.
• Generate and track RFIs between project stakeholders to resolve issues and protect schedule.
• Review submittals and technical documentation for project compliance.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks through proactive coordination and communication.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with AHJs and utility reps throughout construction.
• Utilize drones to monitor progress and document site conditions.
