Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar, BESS, and related energy infra projects across the United States. You will liaise with construction, engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.

The role emphasizes field work, problem-solving, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and delivering large-scale renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction, engineering, or field operations.
• Exposure to electrical or energy projects is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulators to support project execution and resolve field issues.
• Partner with Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams to verify First Article Inspections and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Manage documentation including redlines, as-builts, field reports, inspection records, and turnover packages.
• Generate and track RFIs to support timely resolution and protect schedule.
• Review material submittals and engineering packages for compliance with project requirements.
• Support field verification and installation activities for electrical systems and infrastructure.
