Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. This site-based role links engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of projects.

The position emphasizes field problem-solving, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and active participation in large renewable energy deployments with potential for per diem and home

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating within a team environment to solve problems and support project objectives.
• Experience creating reports, maintaining documentation, or compiling project-related data.
• Experience working against deadlines and managing competing priorities.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulatory agencies to support project execution and resolve technical field issues.
• Partner with Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams to support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and verify work is executed per drawings and specs.
• Generate, track, and facilitate RFIs between project stakeholders to support timely issue resolution.
• Review material submittals, engineering packages, and construction documentation for compliance.
• Support identifying and mitigating construction risks and execution challenges through proactive coordination.
• Maintain visibility into subcontractors and self-perform scope execution to drive quality and safety.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with AHJs, utility reps, and project stakeholders.
• Utilize drones to monitor progress, document site conditions, and support issue identification.
• Partner with project management and engineering teams to improve communication and project outcomes.
