Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Field Engineer to support ABMS DI Processing Node efforts, with 75% travel across CONUS/OCONUS. Responsibilities include site surveys, configurations, fielding products, documentation, and stakeholder briefings.

The role requires 8–12 years of relevant experience (or 6–10 years with a Master’s), active clearance, and hands-on expertise in cloud and DevSecOps toolchains. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years field engineering experience or Master’s with 6–10 years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel to onsite installations.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole.
• DevSecOps tool chains experience
• Technical documentation experience
• Mentoring junior team members
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical systems
• Strong Jira/Confluence and agile team participation experience
• DOD 8140 IAT II, GIAC Security Essentials, GICSP/SSCP certifications

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently for site surveys, installations, and configurations.
• Perform site acceptance procedures for fielded products.
• Maintain communications with site POCs for fielded equipment.
• Prepare historical logs, checklists, configs, passwords, and presentations.
• Document notes, feedback, and actions for engagements.
• Create trip reports and brief stakeholders on outcomes.
• Answer questions remotely when not on-site and provide updates.
• Review Jira tasks and participate in Scrum meetings.
• Collaborate with program members on related projects
