Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly qualified Field Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to support ABMS DI processing. You will design, implement, and field secure solutions for joint all-domain systems, collaborating with PMs, engineers, and government counterparts.

The role requires up to 75% travel, site surveys, installations, and strong documentation. Expect cloud/DevSecOps work, iteration in Scrum teams, and cross-project collaboration within Leidos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8–12 years field engineering, or master's with 6–10 years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel to onsite installations.
• Experience with AWS, networking, VPNs, IaaS/PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps toolchains.
• Experience preparing technical documentation.
• Mentor teammates and work in a collaborative team.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical systems.
• Strong Jira/Confluence and agile team participation (Scrum Master a plus).
• Certifications: DoD 8140 IAT II, GIAC, GICSP/SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Remain available to travel (sometime on short notice) both within CONUS and OCONUS.
• Conduct site surveys, installations, and site acceptance procedures.
• Interact with site POCs to support fielded equipment.
• Prepare logs, documents, configurations, and passwords for engagements.
• Document and upload notes, feedback, and errors for engagements.
• Create trip reports and brief stakeholders.
• Answer questions off-site and provide updates as required.
• Review Jira tasks and update status daily.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and Jira reviews.
• Collaborate with program members on other projects.
