Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Missouri seeks a Field Engineer to provide high-level technical support, optimization, and documentation for specialized communications systems, including RF and broadband architectures, and essential network infrastructure.

You will travel up to 75% across territories in IL, MO, NE, KS, KY, IN, IA, reside in Missouri, and pass CJIS background checks for work with Public Safety customers. The base salary range is $70,000–$85,000 USD with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, or Networking equipment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for specialized systems, focusing on RF and Broadband architectures.
• Program, configure, optimize, test, and document complex communications systems.
• Develop and implement solutions for difficult technical challenges during installation or upgrades.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document results.
• Submit comprehensive weekly reports detailing activities and accomplishments.
