Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to support the T5 South team across Missouri and neighboring states. The role focuses on RF and broadband architectures, with advanced technical support, configuration, and documentation duties.

Travel is extensive (75%+), and familiarity with CJIS security requirements and government/public safety projects is preferred. The candidate should have 4+ years in relevant fields and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in LMR, RF systems, or related telecom fields.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willing to travel 75%+ and reside in Missouri/Kansas City area or within the T5 South territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for specialized systems and product applications.
• Program, configure, optimize, test, and document complex communications systems.
• Develop and implement solutions for challenging technical issues during deployment or upgrades.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document results.
• Submit comprehensive weekly reports detailing activities and accomplishments.
