Job summary

Triveni IT is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support the integration, installation, commissioning, and field validation of residential HVAC systems integrated with whole-home battery energy storage solutions in San Leandro, CA. This long-term contract role is onsite with up to 50% travel to customer sites and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with residential HVAC systems, heat pumps, and battery energy storage technologies or related energy management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, installation partners, and internal engineering teams.
• Support utility customer laboratory testing, test plan development, and technical validation activities.
• Coordinate field trial installations, system commissioning, and performance verification.
• Support utility- or partner-led installations of battery-enabled residential heat pumps and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, battery storage, system integration, and energy management issues in the field.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and training to customers, installers, partners, and internal teams.
• Analyze field test results, pilot data, and system performance in collaboration with R&D and engineering teams.
• Identify installation, commissioning, and product performance improvements.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate technical findings to product management and engineering.
• Maintain detailed documentation of field activities, test results, technical issues, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful program deployment and product adoption.
