Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd. seeks a Field Engineer I to track construction activities and ensure safety and quality across EPC and BOP projects in the renewable energy sector.

The role requires travel to project sites nationwide and collaboration with engineers, suppliers, and site teams. Responsibilities include verifying installations against IFC/specs, supporting planning, and preparing closeout documentation while maintaining program timelines and client communications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or construction management (or equivalent) required.
• 1+ year in BESS, substation, transmission, or renewable energy EPC preferred.
• Ability to travel 76-100% domestically.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with safety and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Track field construction activities with attention to safety and quality.
• Verify field installations align with IFC and manufacturer specs.
• Support planning, including 3-week lookaheads and resource tracking.
• Prepare closeout docs, job books, and lessons learned.
• Maintain POD reports and monitor schedule progress.
• Communicate with stakeholders to manage client expectations.
