Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Field Engineering T8 North team across Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, and Idaho. You will install, optimize, maintain, and manage complex mission-critical communications systems, including RF, P25, and data networks.

Expect substantial travel and on-call readiness to ensure system availability and performance. Candidate must have technical education and certifications, with strong RF and telecom know-how, and be willing to

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or technical certifications required.
• FCC license and industry certifications are a plus.
• CET certifications through CompTIA Network+ and/or Security+ are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, optimize, and maintain public safety systems (RF, 700/800, P25).
• Proactive maintenance with trend analysis and documentation.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for RF and broadband architectures.
• Configure and document complex communications systems; test and validate implementations.
• Prepare weekly activity and accomplishment reports.
