Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Field Engineer to implement and support advanced communication systems across multiple sites in the United States. You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Sales to design, install, test, and document networks, RF equipment, and servers, delivering reliable, compliant deployments.

You will configure on-site and remote networks, perform troubleshooting, and ensure test results meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, testing, and documenting complex communication systems.
• Strong LAN/WAN IP networking and network troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Motorola radio/console products and related data/telephony circuits.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, test, and document advanced communication systems onsite.
• Provide weekly activity reports and maintain system documentation.
• Configure networks, servers, and RF infrastructure; produce as-built and baseline reports.
• Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting; verify fault-free operation.
• Execute acceptance testing per project plans and test documents.
• Suggest solutions to complex technical issues during deployments or upgrades.
