Job summary

Scarsella Bros., Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to join the SR 167 Completion Project in Fife, Washington. You will bridge design and field operations, support field crews, track quantities, coordinate with subcontractors, and help ensure safety and quality on a high-profile transportation project.

You will work closely with field leaders, project management, and design professionals, participating in planning, scheduling, and cost tracking while maintaining project records and as-builts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
• Experience with roadway, transportation, earthwork, utilities, structures, or heavy civil projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specs, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist field supervision and project management with daily planning and execution of construction activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to support field crews.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to resolve field issues.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation for review.
