Job summary

Capstone Structures in Richland, Washington is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our construction team. You will support project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout all phases of construction.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to develop a strong understanding of both the office and field sides of project execution, including coordination, scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking to ensure

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with project teams, field staff, clients, and subcontractors.
• Project management and planning skills to support scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and progress tracking.
• Project engineering experience with a focus on heavy civil, underground utilities, or structural concrete projects.
• Electrical engineering knowledge beneficial for projects involving power, controls, or related infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance on construction sites.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

Capstone Structures is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our construction team in Richland, Washington. The Project Engineer will support project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout all phases of construction.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to develop a strong understanding of both the office and field sides of project execution. The Project Engineer will assist with project coordination, submittals, RFIs, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, documentation, and communication while helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Capstone Structures performs heavy civil, earthwork, concrete, utility, and commercial construction.
