Job summary

Scarsella Bros., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for a Post Falls, ID project. Primary duties include reviewing submittals, RFIs, document control, and assisting field crews with drawings, specs, and takeoffs.

The role supports scheduling, safety meetings, field surveying, and cost data management. Ideal candidates have a civil engineering or construction mgmt background with safety focus, and are willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 1+ years of construction field experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies on engineering plans and specs.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and document management.
• Assist interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and basic engineering calculations.
• Assist in work plans, scheduling, and field surveying.
• Support project management with data for submittals, transmittals, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate materials deliveries and supervise field operations.
• Help generate change orders and as-built data for PM review.
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs, photographs, and project communications.
