Materialize, based in New York City, is seeking a Field Engineer to drive customer success through technical evaluations and onboarding. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, lead discovery conversations, and design tailored demos. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a similar role and a solid understanding of data architectures.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 3 days in the NYC headquarters. A competitive salary between $145,000 and $160,000, plus bonus and equity, is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role like Field Engineering.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and event streaming.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery conversations with customers.
• Design and deliver demos with clear success criteria.
• Explain Materialize’s architecture and positioning.
