Job summary

HW3 is seeking a Field Engineer in New York City to drive technical discovery, demos, and value engagements with customers. You will guide evaluations from initial interest through production deployment, partnering with sales and a cross-functional pod to ensure successful adoption and expansion.

You will bring 4+ years in customer-facing technical roles, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with modern data architectures and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Field Engineering or Solutions Engineering.
• Strong SQL fluency and working knowledge of relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Flink, Spark) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to run technical discovery, product demos, and value engagements with prospective customers.
• Translate customer requirements into technical validation plans and guide evaluation.
• Support customers from close through deployment, ensuring adoption and expansion.
• Serve as a technical voice in deal strategy with the Account Executive.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on field experience.
