Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes in the Western U.S. You’ll coordinate with field labor to ensure safe, on-time work that meets Harder’s quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, internship experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. You’ll gain exposure to multiple markets and regions, with opportunities for professional development and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction/Engineering fields as required.
• Previous internship experience in construction or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn, follow, and promote Harder’s safety policies and protocols.
• Review construction drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Resolve engineering issues by communicating with designers, owner reps, and team members.
• Monitor field construction and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Engage in work sequence planning and prepare/monitor work packages.
• Track construction progress and update status weekly.
• Organize project records in a document control system.
• Estimate future work and perform additional tasks as assigned.
