Harder Mechanical Contractors Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes. You will coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to Harder Mechanical's quality standards.

This entry-level role serves as the starting point for a project management career at Harder. You will review drawings, resolve issues with design engineers and owners, monitor progress, and help organize records.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, schedule, and quality.
• Monitor field construction and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Prepare and monitor work packages, including labor and cost estimates.
• Track construction progress and update status weekly.
• Organize project records in an effective document control system.
• Mentor new engineers and support project manager as needed.
• Estimate future work.
