Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks Field Engineer Interns for site-based roles. You will assist in daily production/cost monitoring, coordinate subcontractors, and support engineering reviews, procurement, construction, and start-up of HV electrical systems.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, safety, and on-site documentation, with opportunity to interact with project managers and site leaders on various tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in construction management or engineering.
• Some construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project).

Responsibilities

• Complete daily production and costs monitoring for major work items and ensure safety data is collected.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers.
• Understand contracts and subcontracts to support invoicing and payment timelines.
• Maintain project equipment inventory and monitor consumables.
• Assist in QA/QC, safety oversight, and documentation for project records.
• Prepare submittals and assist with field drawings and plan updates.
