Kiewit invites ambitious students pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field to join a hands-on internship in the Power Market. You will participate in building, estimating, and scheduling mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial systems while supporting administrative and field activities.

Qualifications

Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project tools is a plus.
Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Work with a diverse team to build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial systems.
Support administrative and construction activities: review proposals, perform material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates, attend pre-bid meetings.
Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
Prepare work plans, manage costs and materials, schedule equipment, and maintain safety programs.
Show leadership and drive in fast-paced construction environments.
Relocation may be required.
