Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an internship in construction management for hands-on learning in a full‑time temporary role within the Field Operations group. You will engage in construction management activities across mechanical, civil, electrical, and heavy industrial projects, gaining insight into cost control, planning, and vendor relations.

You will develop work plans, track costs, review drawings, and support supervision of subcontractors while building essential industry experience and a strong work

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Broad knowledge of project scheduling and cost control, and ability to read/understand project drawings/specifications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling/cost tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support estimating, scheduling, and cost control activities under supervision.
• Review proposals, specifications, and drawings; assist with material takeoffs and cost estimation.
• Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
