Job summary

APSI Construction Management is seeking a Field Engineer/Construction Inspector to join the Owner's agent team for the FBOP Leavenworth project in Leavenworth, Kansas. The role covers closeout and activation phases, 1–1.5 years, starting October 2026, with a project size of $460M and a $100k–$130k annual salary.

The successful candidate will inspect construction, coordinate with stakeholders, manage warranty work, and ensure compliance with plans, specs, codes, and BOP requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction contract administration and inspection (QA/QC).
• US Citizen; able to work on FBOP Leavenworth project.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations required; OSHA 30 card before start.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with BOP representatives, contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide daily site inspections to verify functionality of operational systems.
• Coordinate field activities with clients, consultants, contractors and regulators.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and monitor contractor schedule progress.
• Review and advise on accuracy of contractor change orders and pay apps.
• Coordinate third‑party testing and inspections and maintain project records.
• Support activation activities and training for BOP end users.
