Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a Field Engineer II to oversee discipline-specific Construction/Installation Work Packages, manage takeoffs, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and contractors. The role involves site-labor supervision, procurement support, and document control across multiple projects.

You will contribute to safety programs, scheduling, and project reporting while traveling up to 100% across the US. A related engineering degree and experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Lead 1-2 Field Engineers and support a crew of up to 50 people.
1–3 years’ experience as a Field Engineer or similar role.
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Represent in a professional manner in all client interaction activities.
Provide field reports and contract required reports (weekly, monthly, schedule).
Perform quantity calculations and measurements of completed/installed materials and work.
Develop and review work plans and work packages.
Create and maintain project schedules and procurement status reports.
