Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer I in Savannah to support field management, supervise on-site activities, and help implement quality and safety programs. You will work closely with the Superintendent, coordinate with trade partners, review contracts, and document progress daily.

The role emphasizes learning construction techniques, safety, and project PMP participation, with growth toward an Assistant Superintendent path.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
OSHA 30 certification required for all field associates.
Proficiency with Bluebeam and basic construction software tools.
Experience reading plans and construction documents.
Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, and punch lists preferred.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist with field oversight across project phases and coordinate with the Superintendent.
Monitor schedule progress on-site and document updates to keep projects on track.
Support with Site-Specific Quality, Safety, and related programs.
Document daily progress in Procore and manage field tasks.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to PMP development.
Review owner contracts and trade partner scopes of work.
