Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Atlanta, GA seeks an Engineering Intern currently or formerly an HNTB intern to support construction inspection and documentation on major infrastructure projects. You will assist in verifying conformance with plans and specifications, read drawings, and help prepare reports under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering, are in training (EIT preferred), and are eager to gain experience in field monitoring, quality controls, and coordination with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
• Current or former HNTB intern preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction field work tasks to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule quality control inspections.
• Observe on-site material testing and coordinate testing and monitoring services.
• Perform basic shop drawing review and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Review contractor's daily construction reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare reports on construction progress using video and photos.
