Job summary

HNTB is seeking a construction inspection engineer intern (current/former HNTB interns ONLY) to support field work, document construction progress, and ensure conformance with plans and specifications on infrastructure projects.

You will assist in quality controls, read drawings, perform basic calculations, and coordinate with the Resident Engineer. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Current/former HNTB interns are eligible to apply.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Assist with inspection field work and documentation to support project conformance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction field work to ensure conformance with plans and specs.
• Review daily reports and prepare progress documentation for reports.
• Read drawings and identify discrepancies; assist in problem solving with the Resident Engineer.
