Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project.

You will assist with field supervision, compliance, documentation, quality assurance, and coordination to ensure timely package delivery and adherence to technical and regulatory requirements. This role is part of the Delivery Partner team delivering one of the nation’s most significant infrastructure initiatives, aimed at improving mobility and regional connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, field engineering, or inspection on large-scale infra or transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, QA processes, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site supervision and field management, supporting oversight of construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with construction management plans, safety protocols, and project requirements.
• Monitor and document daily construction activities, including safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Participate in precondition surveys, mitigation planning, and punch-list resolution.
• Support interface management and coordination with project stakeholders.
