Sundt seeks an entry-level Field Engineer to support the Project Engineer as the technical source for drawings, specs, submittals, and change orders on heavy civil projects. The role emphasizes batch plant operations oversight, materials quality control, and collaboration with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Engineer in developing as-built drawings, submittals, change orders, and budgets.
• Maintains project quality and safety culture; supports in preparing meeting agendas and reports.
• Oversees/coordinates BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers.
• Supports documentation for LEED certification and Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
• Provides line work, grades, and layout for the project; logs quantities and tracks costs.
